one too many travel adventures
After a long walk from Cityhall MTR then trying to find our way to a uncommon area to find a fantastic restaurant, we found the famous restaurant in Hongkong that serves great dimsum! Located at a sort of museum, quite a 20 minute walk from the MTR however we might have been lost. A no reservation policy, we thought by 1:30 p.m., the place would have eased a bit from the weekday lunch parade from nearby offices. However, we were up for a “long” surprise.

Starving for a best treat that Hongkong can give, we waited the infamous queue that brought us to dimsum heaven! I remember eating here last time I visited with my parents. That huge banquet hall looks like a typical place where Chinese people celebrate wedding banquets. I got giddy seeing push carts full of bamboo plates and mini dimsum plates.

We ordered a lot of usual favorites like hakaw, siomai, sharksfin siomai, xiao long pao, radish cake, pork ribs etc. The moment the dimsum plates touches the table, we were putting one each on our own plates. To each our own mind you, my favorites were siomai and hakaw. It was a typical but extremely satisfying. Either that, or we were that hungry! But, this restaurant immortalize my memory of dimsum! Yey!

Overall, it costs us around 400hkd for more than 10 dimsum plates + 2 desserts for around 4 people. Definitely worth the wait!
